Scope of the project
Raw Cashmere
Annually, cashmere samples from the goats of herders in the project are gathered and subjected to lab-based quality evaluations. The results are transparently shared with partners for review and discussion.
Herders
Collaborating with Mongolian herders and the increase of their income. Since 2023, Gobi JSC initiated the purchase of raw materials from the herders involved in the project at premium rates, thereby substantially enhancing their financial returns.
Winter Preparedness and Animal Health
Each year, a regimen of sterilization, disinfection, and vaccination is diligently administered to ensure the well-being of the goats involved in the project. Additionally, essential grass and fodder are supplied to assist them in preparing for the winter season.
Transparency
Our focus is on creating products with a clear traceability path, starting from the procurement of raw materials all the way to delivering them to our valued consumers. Project updates are provided in quarterly ESG reports and detailed in Sustainable Development reports, ensuring transparency for stakeholders and the public.
