In July 2021, GOBI Cashmere's cashmere yarns earned the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification. In February 2024, we achieved another major milestone by becoming the first Mongolian company to receive the same certification for finished garments.

This certification ensures that all certified GOBI products — including garments and accessories — are free from harmful substances, safe for human use, and gentle on the skin, guaranteeing quality and safety at every stage of production.

The Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA) is a global non-profit organization that promotes responsible practices across the fibre supply chain. The Clean Fibre Processing Standard ensures that first-stage facilities wash and dehair raw cashmere while meeting the highest environmental, social, and chemical safety standards.​ ​
