From Goat to Garment: Our Organic Process
An organic piece of cashmere clothing goes through a thoughtful, multi-step journey across three specialized factories before it finally reaches your hands—ready to be worn, cherished, and lived in.
It all starts at our Primary Factory, where raw cashmere—gathered during Mongolia’s natural molting season from mid-March to early July—arrives at the Sorting Workshop. Here, skilled workers hand-sort the fibers by four natural shades: white, beige, taupe, and the rare and uniquely Mongolian warm grey. They also classify the fibers by quality and dandruff levels to ensure only the best move forward. After sorting, the raw cashmere is thoroughly washed and sent through a dehairing machine, which separates the soft cashmere fibers from any dirt, dandruff, or coarse hairs—resulting in clean, fine combed cashmere.
The journey continues to our Spinning Factory, where the combed cashmere is typically dyed—but in the case of organic products, this step is skipped to preserve their natural beauty. The undyed fibers are spun into high-quality yarns, forming the foundation of your organic cashmere wear.
Finally, the yarns are brought to the Knitting Factory, where advanced knitting machines shape them into garments. Each piece is then carefully hand-assembled by our experienced team. Every stage is held to the highest standards of quality control, ensuring the final product is something you can feel proud to wear.
